Affirmation

I am the director of my life. I notice my feelings and attitudes and keep myself in a place of health and equanimity. I am not hurried by the world around me or taken off balance of the statement of others. I stay in balance from a place of realization of the Divine within me. I move forward to wisdom, power and Selfcare

Thank you Nancy for this wonderful affirmation.

With passion

"With Passion"
With passion pray,
With passion work,
With passion make love
With passion, eat and drink and dance and play.

The will and grace of God

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishingyou, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence.... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

Journey group July

The love, energy and empowerment we give to one anotheris so important. We are spiritual beings here on a human experiencebut we are always empowered by God.
Cindy :)

From Michelle M.
The words of wisdom came from an author by the name of Cheryl Richardson. She is an author and Life Coach. One of her books is called The Unmistakable Touch of Grace.

Here are the positive affirmations from last week's session:
The Power of Grace
I am open and receptive to the power of grace in my life.My life is divinely guided and I am always going in the best direction. Charge Forward! When we combine action with unwavering faith, the power of grace will meet our needs.

Grace for me, in my own words is when God steps in and gives you favor. He watches over you and protects you. You know like when you miss that plane or drive in later and you are savedfrom an unfortunate event. How about when something inside tells you, guides you to make a decision (a gut feeling) or you bump into someone who in some way was meant to be (like a coincidence). or right when you are at your ends, the right message, person, book, words, ...intervene to HELP!! All that is GRACE! I am sure we could probably come up with so many others. We all have examples of how grace has guided our lives if we look back carefullyat the orchestrated events. Maybe, we can all share one event that we remember or have experienced.

From Michelle B.
Archangels
Michael – Protection – Overcoming Fears – Finding Life's Purpose
Rafael – Healer (works with those involved with healing and those needing healing)
Gabriel – Messenger (works with writers, teachers, preachers, etc.)

Angels must be asked to assist – they work with those that desire their assistance and do not cross or interfere with a person's free-will.
----------

My dearest angels:
What messages do you have for the attendees of theWed night Journey Group from last week?
We come to you with guidance and clarity that you may continue on your paths to greatness. We love that each of you is looking to connect with us beyond, to guide and help you grow and change as is needed for the fulfillment of yourdestinies and the pursuit of your desires.
Your own individual greatness will give attention to tread the path needed to travel toward that deeper greatness within. The greatness within longs to shineto assist others in guidance, healing and sharing experiences in order to move others thoughts and actions in line with spirit. Each of you will guide others with your own healing and writing or speaking ministries/talents.
Do not fear – our angelic and spiritual guidance and assistance is also available to you and your 'clients' and loved ones. Just ask us, ask us to guide you. Be clear in your questions and we will be clear in helping in the situation that you ask us about. We are here for you whenever you desire assistance of any type. Ask and listen within – your senses will awaken as you continually make connection with us in your asking; thoughts or spoken word ... we hear you. Your greater good is supported though us andwe will help you with those items that are for your greatest good.
Continue to ask; for you each ask for little for yourself and much for others– it is okay to ask for yourself as well – it is not selfish; it is through your desires that allows attraction to you. Good attracts good ... continue with good healthy desires (you know good desires from strictly material desires).
It is up to you to continue to learn and grow – yes, practice connecting with us. You will not always need 'teachers', for you will be those teaching and sharing to guide and assist other in their growth.

Your Assignments are to each find one person with whom to share an experience with – another spiritual person that you know and trust.
1 – Place your left hands on each other's right shoulders (facing each other)
2 – Look into each other's left eye
3 – State the following: (you can take turns)
I open myself to the divine, to guide and open me to help others through divine loving guidance
4 – Each sit and write the thoughts that come to you about your future and about helping others

Maybe

1. Maybe. . We were supposed to meet the wrong people before meeting theright one so that, when we finally meet the right person, we will knowhow to be grateful for that gift.
2. Maybe . . . when the door of happiness closes, another opens; but, often times, we look so long at the closed door that we don't even seethe new one which has been opened for us.
3. Maybe . . . it is true that we don't know what we have until we loseit, but it is also true that we don't know what we have been missinguntil it arrives.
4. Maybe . . . the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best ofeverything; they just make the most of everything that comes along theirway.
5. Maybe . . . the brightest future will always be based on a forgottenpast; after all, you can't go on successfully in life until you let goof your past mistakes, failures and heartaches.
6. Maybe. .. . You should dream what you want to dream; go where youwant to go, be what you want to be, because you have only one life andone chance to do all the things you dream of, and want to do.
7. Maybe . . . there are moments in life when you miss someone -- aparent, a spouse, a friend, a child -- so much that you just want topick them from your dreams and hug them for real, so that once they arearound you appreciate them more.
8 Maybe. .. . The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porchand swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it wasthe best conversation you've ever had.
9. Maybe. . You should always try to put yourself in others' shoes. Ifyou feel that something could hurt you, it probably will hurt the otherperson, too.
10. Maybe. . You should do something nice for someone every single day, even if it is simply to leave them alone. Profound!
11. Maybe. . Giving someone all your love is never an assurance thatthey will love you back. Don't expect love in return; just wait for itto grow in their heart; but, if it doesn't, be content that it grew inyours.
12. Maybe . . . happiness waits for all those who cry, all those whohurt, all those who have searched, and all those who have tried, foronly they can appreciate the importance of all the people who havetouched their lives.
13. Maybe . . . you shouldn't go for looks; they can deceive; don't gofor wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find theone that makes your heart smile
14. Maybe. . you should hope for enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, andenough hope to make you happy
15. Maybe . . you should try to live your life to the fullest becausewhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smilingbut when you die, you can be the one who is smiling and everyone aroundyou crying.

Stay awake - stay alert - true story

STAY AWAKE - STAY ALERT - What a lessson! A TRUE STORY
A man sat at a metro station in Washington, DC and started to play theviolin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated thatthousands of people went through the station, most of them on their way towork.Three minutes went by and a middle-aged man noticed there was a musicianplaying. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurriedup to meet his schedule.A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threwthe money in the basket and without stopping, continued to walk.A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, butthe man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work. The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother taggedhim along, hurrying, but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finallythe mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk, turning his head allthe time. This action was repeated by several other children. All theparents, without exception, forced them to move on.In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed fora while. About 20 gave him money but continued to walk their normal pace.He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no onenoticed. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition. No one knew this but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the greatestmusicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces everwritten, with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars! Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out a theater inBoston with the seats averaged $100.00 each. This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro stationwas organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment aboutperception, taste and priorities of people. The outlines were: in acommonplace environment at an inappropriate hour...Do we perceive beauty?Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpectedcontext? One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be:If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the finest musiciansin the world playing some of the most wonderful music ever written, howmany other things are we missing?

13. Clear clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life.
14. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, or issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime .
16. Eat break fast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.
17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the NEGATIVE BLUES away.
18. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
20. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
21. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
22. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
23. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
25. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'
26. Forgive everyone for everything.
27. What other people think of you is none of your business.
28. REMEMBER GOD heals everything.
29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change
30. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
31. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
32. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
33. The best is yet to come.
34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
35. Do the right thing!
36. Call your family often. (Or email them to death!!!)
37. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: I am thankful for __________. Today I accomplished _________.
38. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
39. Enjoy the ride. Remember this is not Disney World and you certainly don't want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.
40. Please Forward this to everyone you care about.

May your troubles be less, May your blessings be more, May nothing but happiness come through your door!

Spirit by Firebird

Spirit
lost Spirit,
part

of my ancient heart
what
can I give you?

dear one,
hold close in your arms
for me

the joy
of your eyes
first opening

the sun's whisper
lifting the grass
each morning

this is what
I need

lost Spirit
ribbon of snow
drifting
past
stones and shadow
how
will I find you?

dear one,
hold close in your arms
for me
the melody
that makes a deer leap
in spring

the song you sing
when love is
the only language

the weightless light
that floats you
through the sky

and when your arms
can reach no more
and you see
with your own heart
blindly

then
you will surely find me

Transparent butterflies

It comes from Central America and is found from Mexico to Panama. It is quite common in its zone, but it not easy to find because of its transparent wings, which is a natural camouflage mechanism. A butterfly with transparent wings is rare and beautiful. As delicate as finely blown glass, the presence of this rare tropical gem is used by rain forest ecologists as an indication of high habitat quality and its demise alerts them of ecological change. Rivaling the refined beauty of a stained glass window, the translucent wings of the Glasswing butterfly shimmer in the sunlight like polished panes of turquoise, orange, green, and red. All things beautiful do not have to be full of color to be noticed: in life that which is unnoticed has the most power.

Don't take it personally

Don’t take it personally.
He or she doesn’t call back.
I am not thanked.
Someone yells at me.
I hope you can relate to the type of stuff we experience in our life.

When I call my friend and they don’t return my call could it be that they simply aren’t up to it or maybe somehow their schedule conflicts with the amount of free time they have to even be able to make a call. Perhaps there isn’t even a valid reason people respond as they do verses what I think they should be doing. I may place certain expectations on someone and when they don’t live up to what I think they should be doing than where does my love for them go? Do I consider them to be selfish, did they abandon me or do I abandon them for their lack of action?
Or could I choose to continue to hold them in my heart and welcome their return letting them know they were missed when we next meet.

What is it that the universe wants me to do?
Stand up for myself and let them know I am hurt by their behavior but if only love is real what is the point of taking on an angry response? Do I impose guilt on them for their behavior or do I simply say I am so happy to spend this time with you I value the time we have when we are together.

I can’t live in both worlds and give them the same value, the human world or the world of Spirit. I pick the Spirit world, which gives me my greatest strength, perspective and where my energy will go on forever. I am in charge of my beliefs, how I view something, what I believe and how I behave.

How can I withhold or take my love away when I hold love in the core of me? Love never leaves so why do we choose to? Now don’t misunderstand me I may choose to physically leave but emotionally does my love for another stop? When I remember that my time here on earth is temporary I remember to make the most of it. I know my most important relationship is that with God and I know God would say it’s all about love and forgiveness.

But is the forgiveness really the act of me forgiving myself for taking on a judgmental or condemning attitude of my soul brother or sister? When I truly am in touch with God there is anything I can’t do. When I feel I can’t do it than God can do in through me for God is always there in me I simply ask God to take over and help me hear, see and view things as you do.

What I need to take personally is what I know and experience with God. That is the key to my entire being, the mind, body and Spirit and soul of me is all tied into this understanding and more importantly this relationship. So the next time I get angry I can choose to count to ten and as I do ask God help me to change my perspective and come from love NOW. I also know God gives me so many chances I just need to know that I am doing the best I can but to not to make excuses but to stay mindfully aware. So as I go about my day may I know nothing can take away my peace and love don’t take it personally for it is my eternal walk with God that I know personally surpasses it all. Did you realize your skin is a major organ?

Did you realize your skin is a major organ?
Beauty on the inside and out
By Maria Albuquerque and Cindy Miller

Health tip: Did you realize your "SKIN" is a major organ?
Through our skin we experience the world both on the inside and out.
For example when we feel pain and pleasure our body senses this.
When we are cold are skin turns blue, when our skin is irritated it turns red.
Our skin relays the changes between the external and the internal.
These changes are responses that are triggered to help restore balance between
our interior and exterior.

Our skin is the indicator for our health. Looking pale, dark circle under our eyes,
flushed, red cheeks, hives are all signs of how well we are doing. Our skin is linked to many bodily functions from blood circulation to releasing toxins. When something goes wrong on the inside our body tries to get our attention through our skin. It is important to notice and recognize the changes.

Our skin is our physical container but it protects the flesh and our body. When we are cut it has the wonderful ability to heal. When we have a splinter and are evaded by bacteria
extra blood flow is sent to that area so that the white blood cells and nutrients start healing action.

Many skin problems can be addressed by healthy nutrition. Treating the inside will result in a healthier outside. Usually when you feel good your skin looks good.

Skin is your body's first line of defense it filters the suns rays and keeps out water and toxic substances. It is sometimes called our second kidney because of the million of sweat glands that secrete toxins from our body.

Nutritional support is very important. Copper found in dark leafy veggies, shellfish and whole grains, iron, vitamin C found in fruits and veggies are required for the production
of collagen, which is the glue, that keeps our skin together. Much research has shown
bioflavonoids especially OPCs are powerful antioxidants which help stabilize collagen.
Skin facts:
ü skin of an adult weighs about 8 pounds and measures 20 square feet when stretched out.
ü The thinnest skin which measures 1/25 of an inch is our eyelids.
ü The soles of our feet are the thickest at 1/8 of an inch.
ü We shed about 40 pounds of skin over our lifetime.
ü Men really are thicker-skinned than woman!

Spirit tip: Is someone getting under your skin?
Then bless them for what are they trying to teach you about yourself.
What can you learn from this relationship and experience? Please try to understand that all relationships are sacred. The most challenging ones may turn out to be one of our best teachings and truly our blessing in disguise.

Can you explain this photo?

We are Greek Orthodox and we have a very special memorial service for anyone thatpasses away on or around the 40 day mark of their passing.? Well, as you wouldimagine, that service at church was very hard for all of us.? It is also traditionthat we all go out for a fish dinner after the service.? So I had about 70 peoplefor lunch at the stony hill inn after the 40 day memorial service. That day was snowy.? I drove home and my sister was parked in front of my house.?Well I passed my driveway ( don't know why I did not pull in ) passed my house abit, then turned into the driveway of the house across the street to make a u-turn.?I made the u turn and then parked in front of my house.? My girls looked at thedriveway across the street where I made that u-turn and this is what showed up onthe snow.? Tell me what you see!!!? I think it is some sign or something.? Let meknow your thoughts!!! Anastasia

(Anastasia husbands John crossed over this image is what appeared to her comments are welcomed. Cindy (:) )
Cindy's reflections from the angel's on this picture:
" I think when two hearts were joined as were yours the symbolism of leaving them on the driveway is pure love. John was and is your first love.He taught you more about love, loving yourself and others. What a remarkable way for you to see just that and the fact that you were a pair of sweethearts. Amazing love like that is something to be cherished which I know you do. Someone new is coming and when he does he'll be special to."

Feng shui

Today's Topic: Doors and Windows
TRUTH: The RATIO of doors to windows, in a home, can affect BALANCE in a family’s life.
Doors and windows are important in Feng Shui. They represent a "parent’s mouth and a child’s voice." If windows (childrens voices) out number doors (parents mouths) in a home, arguments among siblings and adults can arise. Also, rude behavior such as children talking back to parents, acting out and/or displaying hyper activity can occur too. In addition, if "most" of the windows are larger in size than the doors, children can become defiant, get their way and/or ignore their parent’s wisdom altogether.
TIP: Regardless of the size and ratio of doors to windows in your home, hang a bell or wind chime "near" (but not obstructing) entrance and exit doors, to create harmony and balance. This way when the door opens, and the chime sounds, the parental voice will be heard by all the windows...children!
INTENTION: My behavior and integrity is stellar. I am in balance with my environment and with every member of my family.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:If you have not registered yet for our F*REE "annual" Feng Shui Telephone Conference call on January 29, 2008, Go to www.AskSuzeeMiller.com and RSVP Today. You are welcome to share this invitation with a friend or two as well.
